About Aura 3D Skin Imaging
WHAT IT IS
The Aura 3D Skin Imaging System is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that captures a fully mapped, three-dimensional digital model of your face. Using 13 precision cameras and sub-millimeter accuracy, the Aura reveals pigmentation irregularities, vascular conditions, skin texture concerns, volume loss, facial asymmetry, and structural changes that are invisible during a standard consultation, bringing clinical-grade skin science to every patient experience.
HOW IT WORKS
In just seconds, the Aura system captures a complete 3D facial map using a combination of standard, cross-polarized, and UV lighting. The result is a detailed digital scorecard that grades different areas of the face and neck, identifying areas of concern and areas of health. Your provider uses this information to design a fully personalized treatment plan based on what your skin needs, not just what you can see in a mirror. The same imaging can be performed at follow-up visits to objectively track your progress and results over time.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Aura scan is a quick, comfortable, and completely non-invasive experience. You will be positioned in front of the imaging system, the cameras will capture your scan, and your provider will walk you through your results in detail. The entire process takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes including your review. The Aura scan is available to all new and existing patients.

Your Aura scan reveals a comprehensive picture of your skin health, including surface pigmentation and sun damage, redness and vascular conditions, pore size, skin texture, facial symmetry, and volume distribution. Your provider will review each finding with you and explain how it informs your personalized treatment plan.

We recommend a baseline scan at your initial consultation and follow-up scans every 6 months to a year to track your progress objectively.
-
No. The Aura 3D system goes significantly beyond what a standard skin analysis tool captures. Its three-dimensional imaging capability allows your provider to assess facial structure, volume, and symmetry in ways that two-dimensional imaging cannot. This makes it particularly valuable for treatment planning involving dermal fillers, neuromodulators, and laser treatments.
