Our Team
Dr. Mary Rose Ramirez
Medical Director
Dr. Mary Rose Ramirez is a board-certified dermatologist and lifelong San Antonio resident. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, her Master’s degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her distinguished training includes a preliminary internal medicine internship at the University of New Mexico, where she was honored as Preliminary Intern of the Year, followed by a dermatology residency at Duke University, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Her clinical expertise spans surgical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, laser surgery, and advanced cosmetic procedures such as tumescent liposuction and SmartLipo. Recognized with the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Resident Scholarship, Dr. Ramirez has presented at numerous national conferences and authored multiple peer-reviewed articles, contributing to advancements in the field.
As an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Texas Medical Association, Dr. Ramirez remains at the forefront of dermatologic innovation. She is dedicated to bringing her unparalleled expertise and patient-centered approach to the patients she serves at her thriving practice Rose Dermatology in San Antonio, TX.
Lauren Mayo DNP, FNP-C
Founder & Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Mayo, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in the medical field. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University.
Her professional nursing career began in 2014 in the adult intensive care unit and later transitioned into facial plastics in 2017. Lauren has been specializing in aesthetic injectables since 2022.

Guided by her personal mission, “To Bring Out the Beauty Within,” Erma combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, results-driven approach to skincare. Her deep understanding of skin science and aesthetics has earned her the trust of patients, peers, and industry leaders. Erma’s background is rooted in advanced medical aesthetics and clinical skincare.

She has completed extensive certifications, including: The Science of Skin Rejuvenation in Paramedical Studies, specializing in the Applied Science of Chemexfoliation, Advanced Medical Aesthetics Certification from The Skin Institute, Clinical Skin Care Program through Scott & White Memorial Hospital’s Division of Plastic Surgery, with emphasis on Dermatology, Oncology, and the continuity of patient care—covering cosmetic applications, skincare management, and pre- and post-operative consultations for congenital, trauma, and elective procedures.

Emily Johnston, PA-C is a highly skilled and experienced cosmetic injector with over 17 years of dedicated training in the field of aesthetic medicine. Specializing in non-surgical facial enhancements, Emily has built a reputation of delivering natural-looking results with precision and care. Her skincare philosophy is driven by a commitment to ethics, superior quality, and precision to restore youthfulness that appears effortless.
Emily’s positive attitude and ability to openly discuss patient goals and concerns helps to provide a sense of comfort to her patients. In close consultation with her patients, she creates a customized treatment plan in order to achieve their personal aesthetic goals.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Emily attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate degree in Human Biology, before returning to the University of Oklahoma where she graduated at the top of her class from the Physician Associate program. Emily moved to Austin in 2008 to begin her career and also start a family with her husband, Seth. Emily and Seth have three sons. When they’re not at football, basketball, or baseball games, Emily and her family enjoy traveling to ski or relax at the beach.

Lauren Klingman brings more than 5 years of experience across leadership, patient experience, relationship management, medical aesthetics, and business development. As Director of Clinical Operations at Austin Aesthetics Club, she helps shape a warm, thoughtful, and highly personalized patient experience while supporting the operational rhythm that allows the practice to serve patients with excellence.
Lauren’s professional foundation was built on entrepreneurship, team leadership, and client-centered service. Before entering medical aesthetics, she founded and successfully operated a dance and fitness studio, where she developed her passion for building relationships, coaching teams, and creating environments where people feel confident, supported, and empowered. That same philosophy continues to guide her work today.

After starting her family, Lauren found a natural calling in medical aesthetics. She quickly fell in love with helping men and women feel like the best version of themselves through education, personalized care, and natural-looking results. She believes confidence is not about changing who you are; it is about feeling your best at every stage of life.
With experience in both plastic surgery and medical aesthetics, Lauren specializes in patient education, practice operations, consultative communication, scheduling coordination, and creating a seamless experience from the first conversation through each step of the aesthetic journey. While she does not perform treatments, she enjoys guiding patients through their options, answering questions, and helping them make informed decisions that align with their goals.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and is a proud former Kilgore College Rangerette. Outside the office, Lauren is happily married to her husband, James, and they have two beautiful children, Leighton and Cash. She loves spending time with her family and staying connected to her friends and the Austin community she calls home.
